SUMMARY:National Summit 2027
DESCRIPTION:Our 2027 National Summit will bring together nonprofits\, social enterprises\, and hunger relief organizations from across the country for 3.5 days of amazing content\, networking\, and collaboration. \nFor the first time\, we are not only supported by the Jacques Pépin Foundation\, but this event is fully designed and run in direct collaboration with their team. \nCost: \nNon-member\, non-partner: $2\,000 \nMember\, regular registration (code here): $500 \nMember\, Early Bird Registration (submit your data!): $400 \nJPF Community Kitchen\, non-CK member (reach out to JPF for your code): $750 \nOther partners: Email us to find out about sponsor and partner opportunities and prices \n  \nWe will be focusing on three main tracks of content: \nTraining\, Education\, and Career Pathways \nA space to plan for the future of training in the culinary field\, in addition to transferrable skills\, social services\, and all ways to best serve our students and clients. \nKitchen Innovation \nDiscussions on the newest and highest performing models of social enterprise and hunger relief operations; planning a future more diverse than ever with new approaches to operations\, products\, services\, and revenues. \nDevelopment\, Community\, and Communications \nFeatured best practices in community partnership\, funder relationships\, community organizing\, marketing strategies\, donor relationships\, and so much more. \nWe will also address ways in which the network is growing\, supporting the restaurant industry\, advocating for graduates and frontline workers\, and much more. \n  \nWho presents? Members! \nOur National Summits always seek out the best of what our members are doing. Have an idea you want to submit for a session in one of those tracks at the national summit? \nLet us know by clicking here. \nMembers that help to create a session for the National Summit will receive free registrations and Travel Stipend priority when possible. \nMost sessions involve two or more member programs\, and all you need to submit is the idea\, not the full session. We’ll help you build it out from there! \n  \nOther Activities to Plan for:\nMember Appreciation: \nWe know how hard the staff of our member nonprofits work\, and we want you to build in time on this trip for bonding and relaxation with your peers. Some of this will be built into each day of the event\, but the evening of Friday the 15th\, and the half day on Saturday the 16th will be especially set aside for events that allow attendees to experience some of the finer things in this beautiful area of the country. \nVendor Market Place: \nSponsors\, partners\, and vendors that have excellent offerings to benefit our members will have a showcase during this event. The timing of this showcase is still being determined\, but plan for interaction and the ability to form relationships with partners interested in providing products\, services\, funding\, in-kind donations\, and more to our member programs. \nTravel Stipends: \nOur budget for the National Summit includes seeking funds to support every member to travel to this event.  If you are worried about price and affordability to make this event accessible for you or your team\, please reach out so we can help to prioritize where those funds are spent. Our top priorities for travel stipend funds will be for member session speakers (see above) and organizations with small budgets\, far to travel\, or other demonstrated financial need for support. Email info@catalystkitchens.org to start the conversation and join the waitlist. \nHotel: \nOur main block is with the Hotel Petaluma\, located in downtown Petaluma and convenient to all that city has to offer in its walkable downtown. Here is the booking link for once you are ready to register: \nhttps://group.tapestrycollection.com/eqsrcc \nThis room block is for nearly their entire hotel\, but may not accommodate every attendee at the event. We will have an overflow block at a second hotel still to be determined\, but book soon to secure your room at this main location! \nMore Information: \nWe will post updated draft agendas\, attendee lists\, and other information here as we grow closer to the event. Expect an update around April of 2027.
