Catalyst Kitchens Southeast Regional Summit 2026 – Atlanta, GA
Open Hand Atlanta joined the Catalyst Kitchens network in 2024 and has quickly emerged as one of our most innovative members under the leadership of Catalyst Kitchens board member Chef Kira Scott. This year’s Southeast Regional Summit begins with the 2nd Annual Georgia Food Is Medicine Summit, hosted by Open Hand Atlanta and Emory Healthcare, bringing together healthcare, nonprofit, and community leaders exploring the growing role of Food Is Medicine. On day two, attendees will go behind the scenes at Open Hand Atlanta to learn how the organization integrates workforce development, medically tailored meals, nutrition services, and community partnerships into a powerful model for impact.
Through conversations with Open Hand’s leadership, staff, alumni, and partners, participants will explore workforce development, employer engagement, career pathways, and cross-sector collaboration. Whether you’re a chef trainer, program manager, executive director, development professional, employment specialist, or community partner, you’ll leave with practical ideas and connections to strengthen your organization’s work.
For our event:
Day 1 will begin with the 2nd Annual Georgia Food Is Medicine Summit. Following the conference, attendees will enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of Open Hand Atlanta and a Catalyst Kitchens networking happy hour.
Day 2 will be a full day at Open Hand Atlanta and include breakfast and lunch, with the option to enjoy an informal dinner that evening.
