Catalyst Kitchens Train the Trainer Workshop – Southeast

Catalyst Kitchens’ signature Train the Trainer Workshop provides a community of practice for members and allies working with individuals with barriers to employment. Send your chefs, cooks, trainers, instructors, case managers, program managers, and employment specialists at all experience levels. This workshop includes a pre-session virtual introduction call and an 8-hour live session at a Catalyst Kitchens host site. This learner-centered workshop will cover program design, learning and training strategies, assessment tools, feedback and communication, staff alignment to trainee progression, and building employer relationships. The workshops will address the full lifecycle of a program, from recruitment and program design, to the core tenets of teaching and assessment, to team cohesion, and finally touch on how to align with the hospitality community into which you will send your graduates. Design of these workshops is led by our Director of Education and Training, Dina Altieri, who has experience launching and running multiple workforce development programs, as well as teaching in and overseeing college hospitality programs.
