Catalyst Kitchens Theory of Change, Strategic Plan, and Documentary
In 2024, Catalyst Kitchens and our board established a new Theory of Change to detail the work we undertake while pursuing our mission, and laid out a Strategic Roadmap that will guide our work from 2025 through 2027.
We were also lucky enough to be able to produce a documentary in 2024 about our work and our members, thanks to our partnership with Mutual of America. The video speaks to our impact in ways that words and pages often fail to capture.

Vision:
All individuals have a pathway to economic mobility and stability.
Mission:
Create a community of learning and resources dedicated to supporting individuals with barriers to employment to launch and grow careers.
Strategy:
We achieve this through a network of organizations that thrive and grow by sharing best practices, raising awareness, and advocating together for one another and their constituents. Network members support one another, and the movement of culinary skills training and workforce development as a whole.
Values:
The national network has a diversity of perspectives, locations, and expertise that uniquely positions us to increase the impact of each member organization.
